Meet the artist

Dirk Wittmann studied English and Biology in Heidelberg. He is a self-taught artist and has been painting and drawing since he could hold up a pencil. His range of works includes portraits, landscapes and illustrative work. He works mainly in oil and gouache. However, he loves to draw and sketch with pencil and ink. He exhibited some of his works in Markdorf, Germany.
As well as an artist, he writes fictional pieces and has won awards for his short stories. In his real life he works as a teacher and lecturer.
