Whatever you call a thing, it cannot be another thing any more. It’s all about the identity of things for the best and the worst.
While sitting down and thinking about what to publish on this site apart from art it appeared to me that writing things comes with a whole different challenge. How do you call a thing? What does it imply if you call your site a “blog” or a “diary” or simply “thoughts”? Whatever title or name you choose you create expectations in a reader. And it’s somewhere within this twilight zone of words that meaning is created.
This is scary since writing something down makes you challenge someone’s, the reader’s, expectations. You make her/him reflect, even unconsciously though, the construction of meaning. Let that sink in now.
